Return the current Identity value

DBCC CHECKIDENT ('TBL_CATClass', NORESEED);

Reset to 1000. so next insert will give 1001.

DBCC CHECKIDENT ('TBL_CATClass', RESEED, 1000);
GO

While calling  SaveChanges  on my  DbContext , I get the following exception: System.Data.Entity.Validation.DbEntityValidationException: Validation failed for one or more entities.
